Tank Storage

Tank Storage

Kg oil & gas transporting natural gas from fields to points of consumption have a very consistent throughput. Gas consumption, on the other hand, is mostly defined by seasonal variations. Special compensating facilities are used to lower peak loads and provide flexibility and reliability of gas supplies: gas storages capable of accumulating extra gas, storing it, and giving it to consumers when gas demand grows. Underground gas storage (UGS) facilities are built in depleted hydrocarbon fields, aquifers, and salt caverns for this purpose. Working gas inventories in the Company’s UGS facilities reached 7 billion cubic meters by the autumn/winter 2022–2023 timeframe, with potential maximum daily deliverability reaching a new high of 8 million cubic meters at the commencement of the withdrawal season (an increase of 30.8 million cubic meters against the previous year).

Kg oil & gas owns and maintains storage and distribution facilities for petroleum and natural gas. Our bulk storage tanks hold more than 7.5 million barrels of bulk fuel. Our terminals offer multi-modal capabilities (pipeline, truck, rail, and light oil barges) as well as art blending procedures for our ethanol and biofuel supplies. Kg oil & gas Field also has third-party agreements in place throughout Kazakhstan, allowing us to sell our gas in China.

Subterranean transfer pipes that are centralized remotely operated and run between the tanker pier and the tanks connect the tanks to the pumps that supply the long-distance pipelines. It’s also possible to shift different grades of crude oil to different parts of the tank farm in order to obtain certain crude oil and feedstock features and qualities, for example. Crude oil can also be moved to and from the caves using the tanks.

Transportation

Transportation is an important aspect of our business. Kg oil & gas Pipe Line is responsible for the safe, dependable, flexible, and efficient delivery of energy to our customers in China. Kazakhstan natural gas is delivered to Chinese clients via a number of trunk pipelines that span the country. They form one of the largest gas transport systems in the world, with a design capacity of over 100 bcm, through which Kazakhstan gas can be delivered to CIS consumers.

Kg oil & gas maintains and invests in an interconnected system that ensures that all of our products reach their intended destinations. Kg oil & gas owns and/or operates a network of pipelines and storage facilities that transport crude oil, natural gas, natural gas liquids, carbon dioxide, petrochemicals, and refined products. Kg oil & gas also oversees a fleet of ships that transport crude oil, liquefied natural gas, and our processed goods around the world. Every year, the Kg oil & gas traverses over 1.4 million kilometers.
